Hand-rolled unfiltered clove cigarettes assure a strong and pleasurable smoke. A real Indonesian tradition and a cheap way to enjoy kretek. Clove cigarettes without filter are until today made by hand, stuffing clove and tobacco mixture into a wooden tobacco roller, compressing the clove tobacco mix and rolling the cigarette paper around. This is the reason, why unfiltered Kreteks burn much longer than normal cigarettes. The density of tobacco and clove is much higher than in the normal cigarette, equally in Indonesia, chemicals like "burn accelerator" are not used at all. The prices are still cheap and in fact hard to believe once one knows the efforts put in for producing this "Cheap" Kretek. |
